Find your voice, free your story in a dynamic community of supportive women.
An empowering, 6-week, in-person workshop for beginning to advanced writers.
Space is limited. Register today as spaces go quickly!
For questions, please email FYVworkshops@gmail.com
Whether you're journaling, or writing memoir, fiction, essays, or poetry, studies show that writing from our experience can be healing and transformative. And when women come together in a creative space, we can change the collective narrative, empowering ourselves and each other.
Each workshop includes interactive craft and progress discussion, writing time, and optional sharing of work and supportive feedback.
Smaller, more intensive groups are available on Zoom and can be joined as a supplement to the in-person group. Visit the Virtual Workshop page for more info.
These workshops are different from the writing groups and workshops you may have attended in the past. They're designed to be inclusive and empowering, led by someone who knows what it feels like to not quite fit in, who was transformed by finding her voice and using it to empower herself and others who'd been conditioned to stay silent. The readings and writing prompts are carefully designed to encourage you to go deep, elevate your craft, and break through the barriers holding you back from fulfilling your creative destiny.

**If you can afford to help sponsor another writer, please choose the Community Sponsor option, and I'll offer you a private 1-hour coaching session that includes reading, feedback, and guidance to help you reach your creative goals.
***In an effort to create a cohesive and tight-knit community, drop-in and pro-rated options are not offered at this time. We understand if you need to miss a group or two; all readings and writing exercises will be emailed between groups.
