Find your voice, free your story in a dynamic community of supportive women.
Empowering, in-person workshops for beginner to advanced writers.
Do you have a story that's yearning to come out, but you're not sure how to translate it to the page? Are you craving support and encouragement from other writers on the same journey? Do you need a safe space to explore challenges, imposter syndrome, or difficult material without getting shut down or dismissed? How do we create an inspiring story versus info or trauma dumping? How do we effectively translate stories of transformation?
Each workshop will focus on different core aspects of the craft and include readings that reflect effective craft, interactive lessons, group discussion, prompts, writing time, revision guidance, optional sharing of work, and supportive feedback.
These workshops are different from the writing groups and workshops you may have attended in the past. They're designed to be inclusive and empowering, led by someone who knows what it feels like to not quite fit in, who was transformed by finding her voice and using it to empower herself and others who'd been conditioned to stay silent. The readings and writing prompts are carefully designed to encourage you to go deep, elevate your craft, and break through the barriers holding you back from fulfilling your creative destiny.
With M. Maeve Eagan, coauthor of the groundbreaking memoir, Behind Blue Curtains, which sparked the Anabaptist MeToo Movement. Ghostwriter of books, blogs, and high-profile impact statements, Maeve is also a trauma-informed memoir coach and editor, and hosts writing workshops to help people find their voices and free their stories.
Community Sponsor: $125. This helps provide sliding scale and scholarships to keep workshops accessible to women facing financial challenges. I offer a free 60-minute, private coaching call to all Community Sponsors.
Standard Rate: $95. This helps cover operational expenses to maintain our community.
Sliding Scale: $75. This is offered to women facing financial challenges.

To help plan ahead, the 3-workshop bundle rate is available until September 21. After this date, tickets may only be purchased individually.
PLEASE DO NOT REGISTER FOR ALL 3 WORKSHOPS INDIVIDUALLY IN ADVANCE AT SLIDING SCALE. Pre-registration guarantees you a spot, so it has added value. Advance registration for all 3 is available at the bundle rate until Sept 21.

Refunds
I know that life can be unpredictable, and I want to be as flexible as possible while also keeping these workshops sustainable. Refunds can be requested up to one week before the workshop (minus any credit card or Venmo processing fees). If an emergency or unforeseen circumstances come up after that one-week window, I can not guarantee refunds or credit. I'm happy to share workshop materials and/or meet for an individual Zoom session. Exceptions will depend on circumstances, availability, and capacity on a case-by-case basis.
*Disrespectful or harmful behavior will result in removal from the workshops without a refund.
